 Acting Info

Actors will be led through movement and vocal work with video instruction and at rehearsal. Story assignments will be random and you will be provided with a selection of text to speak at beginning in August.  Memorization is not required (but encouraged!) and scripts can be cleverly pasted into a prop like storybooks or something from the story.

 Costume Info

Performers will create their own costume based on some very simple parameters:

All costumes must be primarily black, white, red and purple. Not only are these colors in the book, the colors make performers stand out from the audience. This is a really important but simple task!

There are many characters in each story and you can pick one character to create your costume. In August, we will send you a video with suggestions for building you costume and applying your make-up. Costumes do not need to be elaborate and can be created on the cheap from your own closet or thrift stores and garage sales. There is no time period and performers are free to make their own style (contemporary, steampunk, Greek or what ever inspires you).

Check out video #1!
We cover the basics of the show, talk briefly about costumes & make up and give you an idea of what to expect next. Our full costume and make-up video will follow soon.

    • This may sound strange but...the audience … (More)
